Kelly Huang, Ph.D., President

Dr. Huang joined HealthTronics in August 2011 as President and member of the Executive Committee for Endo Pharmaceuticals. Dr. Huang brings extensive experience leading global businesses through the integration of scientific, consumer and professional insights to create value by putting the customer and patient at the center. Prior to joining HealthTronics, Dr. Huang held the position of Vice President of Research & Development and was a corporate officer of Neutrogena Corporation, a Johnson & Johnson company. Prior to Neutrogena, as Vice President with Johnson & Johnson's Development Corporation, Dr. Huang established and headed an Internal Venture to develop a transformational delivery platform based on genetic engineering for discovery and design of novel protein. In addition, he held leadership positions within Johnson & Johnson's Consumer business, which included spending two years in Paris, France, that drove innovation globally. Dr. Huang obtained his Doctorate and Master's degrees in Chemical Engineering from Stanford University in California. Dr. Huang also holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, with a minor in Chemistry, from the University of Massachusetts at Amherst.


Clint B. Davis, Senior Vice President and General Counsel

Mr. Davis joined HealthTronics in July 2009 as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Prior to joining HealthTronics, Mr. Davis served as the Senior Vice President, Legal Affairs and General Counsel of Endocare, Inc., a medical device company headquartered in Irvine, California, which HealthTronics acquired in July 2009. Prior to that, Mr. Davis practiced corporate and securities law with Morrison & Foerster LLP in San Diego, Troy & Gould LLP in Los Angeles and Bingham Dana LLP (now Bingham McCutchen LLP) in Boston. Mr. Davis obtained his Juris Doctor degree from Harvard Law School and holds a Bachelor's degree in Classics from Rice University.


Scott Eden, Senior Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance

Mr. Eden joined HealthTronics in July 2010 as Senior Director of Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance. Prior to joining HealthTronics, Mr. Eden played a global role at Zimmer Orthapedics serving as their Global Director, CAPA and Supplier Quality Systems. Prior to that Mr. Eden worked for Smith & Nephew as Group Manager, Quality Systems and Compliance. Preceding that, Mr. Eden worked for Synthes USA where he held a variety of Regulatory and Compliance Management related positions. Mr. Eden holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Texas Tech University and also received his Emergency Medical Technician certification from the Texas Tech Health and Science Center.


James Maguire, Senior Vice President and General Manager for HealthTronics Information Technology Solutions

Mr. Maguire joined HealthTronics in September 2011 as the Senior Vice President and General Manager for HealthTronics Information Technology Solutions. In addition, since 2008, Mr. Maguire also serves as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer for Endo Pharmaceuticals Inc. Prior to joining Endo, Mr. Maguire led the Global Information Systems team at Shire Pharmaceuticals. Prior to that, Mr. Maguire served as Chief Information Officer for Centocor/Johnson & Johnson Global Biologics. Earlier in his career, Mr. Maguire held leadership roles across several industries, including pharmaceuticals, chemicals, and consumer products. Mr. Maguire holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems Management from Drexel University.


Russell Newman, Vice President and General Manager for General Urology Solutions

Mr. Newman was appointed to Vice President and General Manager for General Urology Solutions in September 2011. Mr. Newman joined HealthTronics in 2008 as a Senior Financial Consultant and was soon promoted to Director of Business Planning & Operations. Prior to joining HealthTronics, Mr. Newman held various finance positions with Dell, Inc., where he was recognized for his outstanding performance through nominations in the CFO Award program and participation in the CFO Finance Rotation Program. Prior to Dell, Mr. Newman held positions of increasing responsibility with Arthur Andersen and Property Crossing LLC. Mr. Newman holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master's degree in Professional Accounting from The University of Texas and is a licensed CPA.


Mark Rooney, Vice President and General Manager for Oncology Solutions

Mr. Rooney was appointed to Vice President and General Manager for Oncology Solutions in September 2011, after joining HealthTronics in July 2009 as Vice President of Cryosurgery Operations. Prior to joining HealthTronics, Mr. Rooney served as a Regional Vice President at Endocare, Inc., for three years up to the HealthTronics acquisition in July 2009. Prior to Endocare, Mr. Rooney held the position of Northeastern Regional Sales Manager at Mentor Urology, and prior to that, Mr. Rooney started his medical device career with various sales and sales training positions at Johnson & Johnson Medical, Inc. Mr. Rooney holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from LaSalle University.


Richard A. Rusk, Chief Financial Officer, Vice President and Treasurer

Mr. Rusk was appointed Chief Financial Officer of HealthTronics in November 2009. Mr. Rusk joined HealthTronics in August 2000 as Corporate Controller and was named Vice President in June 2002. In June 2006, Mr. Rusk was named Treasurer and in September 2006, he also became the Company's Secretary. Prior to joining HealthTronics, Mr. Rusk, a CPA, was with KPMG LLP for approximately seventeen years, the last ten as a Senior Audit Manager. Mr. Rusk holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Baylor University.


Argil J. Wheelock, MD, Chief Medical Advisor

Dr. Wheelock became HealthTronics' Chief Medical Advisor in March 2006. Dr. Wheelock is a Board Certified Urologist and Chief of Urology at Erlanger Medical Center, a level one trauma center and University of Tennessee teaching hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. From 1996 to 2005, Dr. Wheelock served as Chairman and CEO of HealthTronics, a publicly traded NASDAQ company where he was a founder. Dr. Wheelock is widely known among the U.S. Urological community for bringing clinical benefits to patients and economic value to urology practices. Dr. Wheelock graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Medicine and completed urological training at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City.
