Urology Services

Lithotripsy and Laser Therapy
HealthTronics offers the largest fleet of lithotripsy systems and a host of minimally invasive urological services and products serving a network of more than 3,000 physicians. In 2006, affiliated physicians used HealthTronics lithotripters to perform approximately 51,000 procedures in the U.S.

Cryotherapy
HealthTronics, through the acquisition of Endocare, offers a minimally invasive technology that uses ice to destroy cancer for tissue and tumor ablation. The Endocare cryoablation product line provides another treatment option of malignant and benign tumors throughout the body with up to 10 years of clinical experience in percutaneous, laparoscopic, and open cryoablation for prostate, kidney and liver, along with other emerging applications that also include lung and palliative intervention (treatment of pain associated with metastases). The Endocare cryoablation product line is currently utilized worldwide throughout Europe, Asia and parts of Central and South America.
